About Our Founder
Attorney Angelita Chavez
Angelita Chavez is the founder and owner of TCF, PLLC. She is an experienced immigration attorney who assists families and employers navigate all stages of the US immigration process from across the continental US and internationally. She is experienced in consultations, explaining the law, exploring options, and the filing process. She loves languages and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Attorney Chavez is able to represent clients in different stages of their immigration journey. From helping individuals obtain lawful permanent resident status to representing companies with a global workforce, Attorney Chavez has worked with diverse clients. She has experience helping families and students navigate the complexity of immigration law. She also has worked with business owners, entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, and Human Resource (HR) departments to advise and process employment-based immigration petitions across the US and internationally.
As result of her experience, Attorney Chavez can provide assistance on a wide range of immigration categories. She is experienced in preparing family-based petitions, humanitarian petitions, waivers, DACA applications, VAWA/U-Visas, other complex immigration matters. She has experience advising on business visas, H-1Bs, L-1s, E-3s, RFE responses to USCIS, TNs, Extraordinary Researchers (O-1s), changes of status, extension of status, PERMs, and other compliance matters related to specialized workers. She also understands the consular process, the court process, and how administrative agencies work. Attorney Chavez is passionate about helping clients gain knowledge and feel empowered about their options throughout the process.
Attorney Chavez is passionate about educating others and she has presented on various immigration topics in webinars, workshops and over the radio in both English and Spanish. She’s also helped organize a pro-bono naturalization clinic for people who are on the path to becoming a U.S. citizen.
